Hersham is already a Sociable Bowling Club, so it seems to be strange to have a "social section". It's just that some members and I have the privilege of arranging events which are outside normal bowls matches. Who are these people? Margaret Potter, Lyn & John Lanaway, Maurice and Rita Woodman, Janet & Peter Naylor and Jim Brown.

This year we have:

• Gone 10-pin bowling (fun match at Tolworth Bowl)
• Played 2 darts matches (home and away) with Hersham Comrades lost Bully both times.
• Had an Xmas social which most members attended
• Organised & cooked a club dinner at the club house - 59 members came
• Maurice's quiz - well supported
• "It's a Knockout" - good fun.
• Played lots of Whist Drives

Any more suggestions out there?
