The Ladies' Section of the club was formed in 1929 - the initial meeting taking place in Shaw Place with Mrs Blunden in the chair.
In the early years they struggled to field teams, and were generally restricted to playing triple games in midweek against local teams.
The first records of affiliation to Surrey Ladies County Association was in 1977 with ten members and with Mrs Vera Mayer as Captain. The following year was the first time the ladies entered the Surrey Competitions and Mrs V. Mayer became Club Champion. The Ladies' Championship in the 1980's was won on four occasions by Mrs Betty Burry - this still remains a ladies' record.
The ladies' membership numbers did not increase until 1991 when they went from fourteen to twenty two. By the year 2000 the numbers had increased to 38.
